The centre of psychological and pedagogical disciplinary was opened in Aktau
Akim of the region, Yeraly Tugzhanov took part in the opening of Aktau centre of psychological and pedagogical disciplinary, municipal state institution.
On 28 March 2018, two new facilities for children with special needs were opened: Centre of psychological and pedagogical disciplinary for children with special needs in Aktau.
This project was implemented By the Dara Fund with the support of ERSAI Caspian Contractor LLP, Zhandig-S LLP, Kazpromdiagnostika LLP, Sitek Caspian LLP, Centrasia Trade LLP.
"The purpose of the centre of psychological and pedagogical disciplinary is providing correctional support to children with learning difficulties who do not attend special correctional organizations. At the individual educational program taking into account psychophysical development, there will be individual and group sessions with the speech pathologist, the speech therapist, the visual impairment specialist, the teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing, the oligophrenopedagogy specialist, psychologist, social teacher", - said Gulnar Dossayeva, the representative of the Dara Fund.
For the moment, 4968 children with disabilities have been registered in the region. Every year, 1,800 children are examined at psychological, medical and pedagogical counseling. 49 special education teachers, 23 speech therapists, 19 oligophrenopedagogy specialists and 7 teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing work in regional special educational institutions.tough projects in safe hands
